Newcastle defender Sebastien Bassong has revealed that he has had an approach from Arsenal as he looks to stay in England. The 22 year old center-half has had offers from europe,but would prefere to stay in the Premiership.The french-man is one of the few Newcastle players who can hang their head high after last season.When asked by "France Football"if there was interest from Arsenal.He said "There has been an approach. But for the moment, there is nothing concrete."Could be a good signing for Us.Our defence isn't the greatest,and when there were a few injuries picked up it showed we had no depth.
