Could Kolo Be What We Are Looking For

With all the will He buy won't He buy a DM going on at this time,do You not think that with the arrival of VERMAELEN to shore up Our defence,It leaves the door open for Kolo to fill that mantle?.I for one would be more than happy to see him get a good go at it.With Kolo between a back four and an attacking four in the middle with one up front We would be unbeatable. We have the players to play that way, maybe Song and Denilson could learn from Him and start paying Wenger back for all the trust He has put in them.Just the thoughts of a Gunner who never gets tired of Wenger and His box of magic tricks.Whats your thoughts on that?????

Arsenal Boss Arsene Wenger Clears Up Eduardo Da Silva's Injury Mystery
The 'Crozilian' striker is pencilled in to play on Monday

A plethora of reports in the British media yesterday suggested that Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri's two-month injury lay-off was accompanied by a fresh sidelining of Eduardo da Silva, however, this was news to the player, who later told Croatian press that he was "completely ready physically".

Manager Arsene Wenger clarified the situation when he stated on the club's official website that, "Eduardo should play on Monday," which is a stark contrast to the quote attributed to the Frenchman yesterday, "... in two months Eduardo will be back as well."

Eduardo, a Brazil-born Croatian international, has also been pictured training with the rest of the Arsenal squad while Wenger instils his preparatory ethos into the side during the club's annual tour of Austria.

Regarding his apparent injury, 'Dudu' as he is affectionately known, expressed surprise, "I do not know anything about the statement made by my coach. It can not be true. I am completely ready physically.

Arsenal began their Austria trip in fine form as they beat SC Colombia by seven goals to one.

Don't Blame It On Wenger

Here We go again,an Arsenal Player is injured and We get all these "Football Pundits"
saying Arsene has lost the plot, because He wont go out and spend ££££££££'s on players who they think We need.Arsene Wenger did say He needs 3 players in - that was before Adebayor went and Nasri got injured,so Wenger knows exactly what He needs!!!!!There is only one problem the so-called board at Arsenal. These people have invested so badly on over priced "FLATS" and other failures that Arsene Wenger recieves crumbs from them. This has been going on to long now there are people wanting to come and invest in the Club,so it's time for these failures to stand aside and give some-one with a bit of sense a go at keeping us great.Arsene Wengers record speaks for itself, what could He do with the right backing, what could He do if money was no option, the Man has kept us as a top team in Europe on a shoesring budget, with little or no backing from the "HORAY HENRIES" so get of his back.We wouldn't even be a top ten side if We didn't have Wenger

Senderos

Arsene Wenger has admitted that defender Philippe Senderos could leave the club this summer.
Arsene Wenger has addited He has had offers for Senderos. After a loan move to Milan didn't result in a permanent move,Senderos came back to the Arsenal this summer.Although Senderos would like a return to Italy reports suggest He could be used as part of a deal for Bordeaux's Marouane Chamakh. He(Wenger)said in the London Evening Standard: "He has offers and it is open.
"He has come back here with us still looking for solutions but he is still yet to decide on his future."

Nasri suffers broken leg
Arsenal midfielder injured during pre-season training

Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri has suffered a broken leg during the club's pre-season training camp in Austria.

The France international is facing between two and three months on the sidelines after fracturing his right fibula on Tuesday morning.

Nasri will miss the opening weeks of the Premier League season and will be hoping to return to action at some stage in October.

The 22-year-old suffered the injury during a training match at Arsenal's summer camp in Bad Waltersdorf and was immediately taken to a nearby hospital.

A statement on the club's official website confirmed: "Samir Nasri has sustained a fractured fibula during this morning's training session at the club's pre-season training camp in Austria.

"The midfielder will be out of action for two to three months."

The news will come as a major setback to Gunners boss Arsene Wenger as he looks to end the club's four-year trophy drought.

On top of missing several weeks of club action, Nasri has been ruled out of France's forthcoming World Cup qualifiers against Faroe Islands, Romania and Serbia.

Clough hopeful on Randall
Derby boss keen to secure loan deal - Sky Sports
Nigel Clough is eager for Mark Randall to link up with Derby for their pre-season tour of Devon ahead of a possible loan move.

The Rams revealed earlier this month that they wanted to bring in the young Arsenal midfielder on a 'long loan'.

Arsenal are now set to allow Randall to play for Derby in two of their friendlies in the South West this week.

Derby face Yeovil on Tuesday, Torquay on Thursday and Exeter on Saturday and Clough hopes to push through a deal for Randall.

"I think we've got the okay from Arsenal that he will be joining up with us on Tuesday and hopefully he will feature in two out of the three games, probably Tuesday and Saturday," said Clough.

"This week will be ideal to have a look at him with a view to a loan - maybe to January or maybe for the whole season.

"There is no point coming training. You can only see a certain amount in training but this way we can see him in games."

Blackburn Rovers and Sunderland have shown an interest in the 25-year-old, who now says London duo Fulham and Spurs are monitoring his situation.

However, Chamakh does not believe he will be signing for Arsenal, despite Arsene Wenger confirming he is a possible option to replace Emmanuel Adebayor.
